Roczen takes the point lead!

Team history in the making this past Saturday in Anaheim, California! Ken Roczen takes the points lead in the premier class after a stellar round three of the 2025 AMA Monster Energy Supercross Championship. The #94 Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki now holds the overall points lead with a 3-point gap on second. For the first time in this Pipes Motorsports Group history and a first in ten years, a Suzuki RM-Z 450 mounted rider holds the points lead in the Supercross Championship series.

#94 Ken Roczen

Roczen came into round three just two points shy of first place for series points. Ken put on an impressive performance, finishing 2nd place on the night. “The whole main event was really rad,” remarked Ken Roczen. “I am beyond stoked to finish on the podium. We have been putting in a lot of work. We tried a few things this week. Everything we did on Saturday was a success. The work doesn’t stop, but I am going to enjoy this moment.”

#45 Colt Nichols

Colt Nichols continues to progress in the 450 class after a 14th-place finish this past Saturday night. “A2 was a step in the right direction,” said Colt Nichols. “It was a baby step, but nonetheless still a step in the right direction. I could have executed some things better, but overall, it was a step in the right direction.”

#11 Kyle Chisholm

Kyle Chisholm was off to a great start in his heat race but caught a tough block in the opening lap. After getting ejected and thrown into the oncoming rhythm section, the veteran showed his grit, getting right back up to finish the race. “Definitely not the day I wanted,” said Kyle Chisholm. “Looking at the positives, we made some good progress on the bike. I stayed in California all week, so I got some good testing in and riding with the team. We made some good improvements to the bike. I felt better in practice and qualifying. In my heat race, I hit a tough block in the first rhythm section on the first lap, and it was all downhill from there. It was a bummer to end the day that way.”

The series heads to Glendale, Arizona, for Round 4 of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. You can catch all the action live on Peacock TV. Starting with Race Day Live at 11:30AM PST, followed by racing starting at 5:00PM PST.
