NASHVILLE, Tenn. – April 12, 2026 — The 2026 AMA SuperMotocross World Championship made its stop in Music City on Saturday night, and Ken Roczen delivered another strong performance, earning a podium finish at Round 13 of the Supercross season. Roczen finished third overall aboard his No. 94 Progressive Insurance / Cycle Gear ECSTAR Suzuki, moving into second place in the 450SX championship standings with four rounds remaining.
RACE RECAP
Roczen jumped out to the early lead in the 450SX main event and controlled the race for much of the night on a dry and demanding Nashville track. After leading more than half of the main event, Roczen was passed late and suffered a minor tip-over that dropped him briefly outside podium contention. He quickly remounted and charged forward, making a key pass to reclaim third place and secure the team’s podium finish.
Teammate Colt Nichols continued his upward momentum, battling forward from a challenging start to finish ninth overall aboard his No. 45 Twisted Tea Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance. The result marked Nichols’ return to the top 10 as the team heads into the final stretch of the championship.

“It was a pretty tough day. It was a super early day and we knew with the weather that the track was going to be really dry. After a tough heat race, we still had high hopes for the main. I led for quite a few laps and was planning on bringing it home in second, but I made a small mistake and went down. I was able to get back up quickly, pass back into third, and finish on the podium. It wasn’t our best day, but a podium is always good.”
Colt Nichols:
“It was a much better day for me. I qualified better and the bike felt awesome. The heat race and start in the main weren’t great, but I just kept digging and picking guys off. Finishing ninth feels really good, and I’m happy with the progress we made this week.”

“Overall it was a really solid day for the team. Ken led a lot of the main event and still came away with a podium, which is huge for the championship. We’re now ten points out of the title lead with four rounds to go, and that’s a good place to be. Colt made great progress and rode from 16th to ninth after some suspension changes this week, and it really showed. We’re heading in the right direction and looking to finish these last rounds strong.”
