Stockholm, Sweden — Pipes Motorsports Group delivered an impressive performance at Round 4 of the FIM World Supercross Championship this past weekend, with Jason Anderson securing the overall win after dominating the final two main events. The victory propels Anderson into a tie for the SX1 class championship lead heading into the final round.
The event also marked the return of Colt Nichols, who immediately found his rhythm with the team. Despite a crash in the last main event, Nichols’ consistent speed earned him an outstanding 5th overall, highlighted by a podium finish—third place in the second main.
“It was a bittersweet night for us, with Jason getting the overall and Colt riding phenomenal before his get-off in the last one,” said Mark Johnson, suspension technician at REP Suspension. “Our SX2 guys rode well—Robbie Wagemen finished 7th and showed a lot of initiative, and we’re happy with his progress. With Jason’s win tonight, we head into the final round tied for first and hope to carry this momentum forward.
Anderson reflected positively on the weekend:
“Practice was a little shaky for me, but we were able to pull off the win, which is nice. Hopefully we can keep the ball rolling and stay locked in.”
Nichols shared a mix of excitement and determination following his WSX season debut:
“It felt so good to be racing again—I was super excited just to be on the gate. We got some gate drops, saw where I’m at and where the bike’s at, and that alone felt like a success. I went 5-3 in the first two mains, and in the last one I was in fourth when I had a big get-off that caught me off guard. It was unfortunate, but luckily, I’m okay and ready for next weekend.”
In SX2 competition, Robbie Wagemen secured 7th overall with scores of 9-8-5 across the three mains, while Kyle Chisholm finished 13th overall with a consistent 13-13-13.
Pipes Motorsports Group now heads to Cape Town, South Africa, for the final round of the 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship.
