Gold Coast, Australia — The 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship continued its global tour with a spectacular third round on Australia’s stunning Gold Coast. A sold-out crowd witnessed intense, edge-of-your-seat racing as Ken Roczen, competing in his final WSX appearance, claimed the overall victory with a 1-4-3 score across the three main events.
“It was a hell of a time,” said Ken Roczen. “The race was no joke — it was really hot and very gnarly. I think everyone had a chaotic night. Pretty good first moto but not so good the second moto. My riding has been really good all of the rounds. Overall, I had a really great time with the team. I think we are in a very good spot leading into Anaheim. We got the overall win here, won in Argentina, and a second in Canada. I’m very happy — the team did a great job, suspension worked good, bike worked awesome. I can’t wait to go back and hang with the family for December and get ready for Anaheim.”
Team Manager Larry Brooks praised Roczen’s performance and highlighted the strength of the program moving forward.
“The night was pretty good. Ken Roczen won the overall — we are really stoked. He did some things on the motorcycle that were jaw-dropping out there… He rode really good. He actually didn’t feel great, but his riding was really great. Jason rode good, we learned a little bit more about the bike and him… It was a really good night still.
Teammate Jason Anderson showed strong moments throughout the evening.
“Some good things to take from it,” Anderson said. “Obviously it didn’t end very well, but I was able to get up front most of the motos. I had some good riding. I got second in the second race. It was a good day all in all and we keep moving forward.” Anderson finished the night with an 8-2-16 score for 13th overall.
In the SX2 class, Kyle Chisholm posted a solid 9-7-9 for 8th overall, while teammate Robbie Wageman went 11-12-10 to secure 12th overall.
Next, the 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship heads to Stockholm, Sweden for Round 4 on Saturday, December 6. Pipes Motorsports Group welcomes Colt Nichols back into the lineup as he steps in for Roczen.
