Buenos Aires, Argentina — The 2025 FIM World Supercross Championship roared to life this past Saturday at the iconic Oscar & Juan Gálvez Racetrack, where Ken Roczen delivered a flawless performance, sweeping all three main events to claim the overall victory at the Buenos Aires City GP
“It was a successful night,” said Team Manager Larry Brooks. “Ken Roczen won every moto. Jason Anderson rode really well and improved throughout the night. He’s still getting comfortable, but I’m pumped—we’re leaving Round 1 with the points lead and both Ken and Jason in the top five.”
Roczen credited his team and setup for the dominant outing.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better day,” Roczen said. “Huge thanks to the team and to Mark at REP Suspension. The bike felt incredible. We made a few small tweaks in the morning, and everything just clicked. We were fastest in qualifying, won Superpole, nailed our starts, and took all three mains. It was an amazing night for all of us.”
The event also marked the highly anticipated debut of Jason Anderson aboard the RM-Z 450 Suzuki for Pipes Motorsports Group. Anderson showed steady progress throughout the evening, ultimately finishing 5th overall in his first outing with the team.
In the SX2 class, teammates Kyle Chisholm and Robbie Wageman represented Pipes Motorsports Group on their RM-Z 250 Suzukis. Chisholm led the charge with an 11th-place finish, followed closely by Wageman in 13th.
The World Supercross Championship now heads north to Vancouver, Canada, for Round 2 at BC Place on Saturday, November 15.
