Ken Roczen Secures 4th in the 2025 SuperMotocross Championship
Las Vegas, NV – The 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship wrapped up Saturday night under the bright lights of Las Vegas, closing out a 31-race season that stretched from Supercross in January through the Pro Motocross Nationals. Progressive Insurance Suzuki’s Ken Roczen capped off the year with an impressive performance, finishing 4th overall in the final race and 4th in the Premier Class Championship standings.
Team Manager Larry Brooks praised the team’s efforts:
“We finished off the SMX season this weekend in Vegas with a really strong result. The only disappointment was Kyle Chisholm’s crash in the Last Chance Qualifier, where he injured his arm and shoulder. Thankfully, it doesn’t appear to be broken, and we’re hopeful he recovers quickly. That was supposed to be his last SMX race, so it’s tough to see it end that way.”
“Ken was a stud today. He rode hard, pushed through both motos, and came away with 4th overall on the night and 4th overall in the championship. The whole team worked incredibly hard all year—from top to bottom, everyone did their job. We’ll use the offseason to build on this momentum and come out swinging for the 2026 Supercross Championship.”
Ken Roczen reflected on his season with pride:
“We had a great night—5th in moto one, 4th in moto two, and 4th overall in both the race and the championship. That was the best-case scenario, and we achieved it. I’m really pumped. Consistency is key, and I’m happy with the progress we’ve made. The team worked all weekend on little adjustments to improve the bike, and it paid off. I’m excited to finish the season strong.”
Meanwhile, Kyle Chisholm shared his perspective after a tough end to his season:
“Definitely not the way I wanted to finish. I had a crash in the LCQ while battling for a transfer spot and banged up my arm and shoulder. The good news is nothing’s broken—just bruised up. It’s racing, it happens. Still, it’s a bummer to end the SMX season like that, but I’ll regroup and focus on getting ready for World Supercross.”
With SuperMotocross complete, the team now turns its attention to the FIM World Supercross Championship, a five-round global series that kicks off October 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Malaysian GP.
