The seventh round of the 2025 Pro Motocross Outdoor National Championship took place under sunny skies at the iconic Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota. Fans packed the hillsides to watch some of the sport’s best take on the sandy, high-speed course.
Colt Nichols led the charge for the Twisted Tea Suzuki Presented by Progressive Insurance team, securing 15th overall with consistent 15-15 finishes aboard his #45 machine. His teammate, Benoit Paturel, finished 18th overall, highlighted by a strong 16th place ride in the first moto before a tougher second outing.
“Colt Nichols had a solid day,” said the team’s Lead Engine Technician. “He’s had a rough couple of weeks, so it was great to see him put in two consistent motos and finish 15th overall. Benoit went 16-35 for 18th. The second moto was a struggle, but we’ll regroup and do some testing this week to prepare for Washougal.”
Nichols was encouraged by the progress after a challenging stretch:
“Millville was definitely a step in the right direction for me,” said Nichols. “I was able to finish both motos clean and stay off the ground, which is a big improvement from the past few rounds. I’m looking forward to carrying this momentum into Washougal.”
Paturel remained focused and optimistic despite mixed results:
“The first moto went well with a 16th-place finish, but the second one didn’t go my way,” he said. “I still managed 18th overall. I’ll take the positives from today and keep building toward the next round.”
The series now heads west to the scenic and challenging Washougal MX Park in Washington State for Round 8. Fans can catch all the action live on Peacock TV, beginning with Race Day Live at 9:00 AM PST, followed by the first gate drop at 12:00 PM PST.
