Paturel Finishes 11th at RedBud as Team Looks Ahead to Millville

MADERA, CA (July 7, 2025) — The sixth round of the 2025 Pro Motocross Outdoor National Championship took place over the Fourth of July weekend at the legendary RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan. As fireworks lit the sky Friday night, fans rolled in to celebrate Independence Day, creating a sea of red, white, and blue that carried into Saturday’s racing. Every bike on the gate proudly displayed patriotic graphics in honor of the holiday.

– Benoit Paturel

Twisted Tea Suzuki Presented by Progressive Insurance rider Benoit Paturel delivered a gritty performance, finishing 11th overall aboard his #103 machine.

“Today was an average day,” said Paturel. “The track was really nice but tough. We need to keep working to improve. Eleventh overall isn’t bad, but we want more.”

Paturel impressed in the second moto with aggressive lines and consistent pace, nearly breaking into the top ten.

“It was an OK day,” said lead engine technician Dave Dye. “Benoit was riding really strong in that second moto. He has a lot of heart, and it was good to see him so close to the top ten. I know he has what it takes to be a consistent top-ten guy. We’ll keep testing during the week and come out swinging next round.”

 Colt Nichols

Meanwhile, teammate Colt Nichols continues to battle through adversity as he manages an injury sustained at the opening round in Pala.

“It’s been a tough few weeks,” Nichols admitted. “I’ve been struggling with an injury I picked up at Pala. It’s been hard to hang out there right now, but we’ll get it looked at and go from there.”
