Salt Lake City, Utah – May 10, 2025 – The 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season concluded in front of a packed crowd at Rice-Eccles Stadium, with a powerful finale both on and off the track. As the checkered flag waved in Salt Lake City, Team Progressive ECSTAR Suzuki closed out the season on a high note—securing a 5th-place championship finish for Ken Roczen and raising an incredible $200,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through its Kickstart for a Cause campaign.
“It was a great season for us,” said Team Manager Larry Brooks. “We had strong results—won a race, hit the podium multiple times—and even though we lost Ken [Roczen] to an injury, Colt and Kyle kept grinding. They showed real growth. Colt finished 12th tonight, Kyle 14th. It’s tough knowing we were in the fight for the championship and had that taken away, but we’ll use it as fuel. There’s still more to come with playoffs and maybe even some nationals when Ken returns. We’re already looking forward to 2026.”
Despite missing the final rounds due to injury, Ken Roczen earned a 5th place overall in the championship with 271 points aboard his iconic #94 Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki.
“It was a big season for me,” said Colt Nichols, who finished 14th overall with 130 points on the #45 Twisted Tea Suzuki. “Completing a full 450 season was a huge goal. I wanted better finishes and more exposure, but I’m proud of how far we came. The team has been amazing, and while it was frustrating at times, I’m stoked to be out here racing. Can’t wait to line up again next year.”
Kyle Chisholm, finishing the season 17th overall with 78 points on the #11 Twisted Tea Suzuki, reflected: “It’s been a long Supercross season, but a good one. I loved the technical track today—it suited me. I stayed healthy and smart for all 17 rounds. The team has been fantastic over the past three years. I’m going to miss working with them, but I’m not done yet. Hopefully, you haven’t seen the last of me.”
The 2025 season was more than just checkered flags and podiums—it was also about giving back. Thanks to the fans, donors, and everyone who joined the cause, Kickstart for a Cause raised $200,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, making a lasting impact beyond the racetrack.
