This past Saturday night, the 13th round of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship series was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at Lincoln Financial Field. “It was a good night for us,” said Team Manager Larry Brooks. “Ken Roczen finished in 3rd place. He led most of the main event. He has just been battling injuries this part of the year. Colt Nichols finished 13th, and Kyle Chisholm finished 18th, but it was a really good main event. The weather and the rain held off. The track turned out really good. The DirtWurx guys did an awesome job. We are happy with tonight.”
The #94 Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki had the fans on their feet as he jumped out to an early lead during the main event. Ken Roczen led for 13 laps, finishing in 3rd place. “I didn’t ride all week till Thursday.” said Ken Roczen. “I did just a 20-minute fun session to get a little time on the bike. The track today was a big problem for me with 5 right hand turns and it’s my right ankle that’s hurt. When I was leading though I didn’t care about anything. I was just riding. I did my thing just like I have been doing for the last few weeks.”
“It wasn’t a bad round,” said Colt Nichols. “I just ruined my race right out the gate with a terrible start. I got stuck behind the back of the pack, making it hard on myself. I was able to pick off some guys towards the end to put myself in a better position.” The #45 Twisted Tea Suzuki, presented by Progressive Insurance, finished the race in 13th place.
Teammate Kyle Chisholm finished the race in 18th place on his #11 Twisted Tea Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance.
“Overall, not my best day but not my worst,” said Kyle Chisholm. “I struggled in the cold. I’m a Florida boy. There’s not a lot of fat on me, and I struggle in the cold. I couldn’t get comfortable because of that. I just need to start my day better.”
The Kickstart Kenny Campaign for St. Jude has reached a record high of $144,749. Only three weeks remain to enter to win Ken Roczen’s Race Bike and support St. Jude Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The series heads to East Rutherford, New Jersey, for the 14th round of the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The race coverage will be live on Peacock TV, starting with Race Day Live at 6:30 AM PST and the first gate drop set for noon PST.
