Roczen 10th at Motocross of Nations

Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki #94 Ken Roczen answered the call for Team Germany: traveling across the pond to the United Kingdom to race the 2024 Motorcross of Nations. The atmosphere was all time at Matterly Basin, with a three-day format that added to the anticipation of Sundays race. Fans from across the globe came to show their support and share in their passion of motorcycle racing.

#94 Ken Roczen

Pipes Motorsports Group crew led by Larry Brooks along with engine tech Dave Dye, Matt Andurk of Active Ride suspension and mechanic Billy Hartle arrived Wednesday in London and quickly got to work. Traveling to Geoff Walkers SR75 HQ, the crew began assembling Ken Roczen’s race bikes.

The Friday format was short with start practice taking place along with a few press conference events. Saturday the team had its first taste of Matterley Basin with practice and a qualifying race. For the qualifying race team Germany drew the last gate pick. However, Ken made quick work of the outside gate pick and got himself in the top ten early finishing in 6th place.

Roczen carried that momentum into Sunday’s race with two superb motos going 10-10 helping team Germany secure a 6th place result at the 2024 Motocross of Nations. Congratulations to Team USA and their second-place finish.

Now with MXoN done and dusted the focus is all on the World Supercross Championship. Coming off a championship season in 2023, Ken Roczen looks to defend his title starting with the Canadian GP in Vancouver Canada in just three short weeks.
